More than 25 years ago, after being in the meat-market business for years, Gino and John Coccimiglio decided to expand and open up an Italian, family-run restaurant in Sault Ste. Marie. With Gino being the eldest of the two hard-working brothers, they decided to name the establishment "Gino's Family Restaurant".
Starting out as a small business, the restaurant quickly attracted a regular crowd. From workers needing a quick lunch, family & friends gathering to eat and catch up to fun, relaxing dinner gatherings, the food and service at Gino's attracted and satisfied everyone...and still does to this day. Now, having expanded, Gino's is able to serve more hungry customers with a large selection of home-made Italian and Canadian dishes.
The reason people keep coming back to Gino's is simple. It is a family-run business where every detail counts. The secret is: excellent service; breakfast, lunch and dinner dishes made to the highest standards, with exquisite taste; and an environment where customers are treated like they are part of the big italian family.
